low carb : pizza chips


Try this ultra easy and versatile snack to kick those pizza cravings!

Makes: 20 chips

INGREDIENTS

  • 5 slices of ultra thin cheddar cheese slices

  • 1-2 tbsp Italian seasoning

  • 20 pieces of pepperoni

  • 20 jalapenos (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Divide each cheese slice into four squares, creating small cheese squares.

  2. Arrange cheese squares on parchment paper on a cookie sheet.

  3. Sprinkle cheese squares with italian seasoning.

  4. Top each cheese square with a piece of pepperoni and a jalapeno. Omit jalapeno for a milder chip.

  5. Place cookie sheet in a preheated 400 degree oven and bake for 20 minutes or until crispy.

  6. Allow chips to cool, remove from cookie sheet, and dip in low carb marinara sauce.

  7. Store extras in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
