low carb : bacon-wrapped jalapeno poppers

In my opinion, jalapeno poppers are one of the most versatile keto foods out there. Think about it, they are the perfect appetizer to delight ketoers and non-ketoers alike (you can now keep your keto game on game day like a boss!), they make a perfectly tasty and filling lunch, and they are a scrumptious snack anytime you need something a little crunchy, a little cheesy, a little spicy, and a little bacon-y which, lets be real, is ALWAYS.

Makes: 12 servings



  1. Combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic, and onion powder in a bowl and mix well.

  2. Slice jalapenos in half, removing the veins for a milder taste.

  3. Stuff each half with the cheese mixture, then wrap with bacon.

  4. Place bacon wrapped jalapenos on a cookie sheet and bake in a 400 degree preheated oven for 15 minutes, then broil on high for 4-5 minutes or until bacon is crispy.
