I started Keto almost 4 years ago. After having gestational diabetes in my pregnancy, my insulin resistance was getting worse, and I was in the claws of prediabetes. Diabetes runs in my family, so I knew I was in trouble.
At 5’10, I topped the scales around 270 pounds.
I found a fat bomb recipe on Pinterest, and it started me down the rabbit hole of Keto. In the first year I lost 70 pounds and have maintained that loss, while improving my health. I have decreased my total insulin from a 20 to a 12, with a goal of single digits.
My body continues to change daily as I eat keto and do intermittent fasting.
My PCOS symptoms have all but disappeared; and I am more confident and happy, than I have been in my entire life!
