Makes: 16 servings
1/2 cup butter
6 oz. 80% dark chocolate
7 tbsp almond flour
3/4 cup Swerve
3 large eggs, room temperature
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
3 tbsp pecans, chopped
Chop the chocolate in small chunks, chop the butter in small chunks, and add together in a glass bowl.
Microwave in 10 second increments, stirring every 10 seconds until completely melted and smooth.
Allow to cool 5 minutes, then add Swerve, vanilla, and eggs.
In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
Add flour mixture to chocolate mixture and gently stir just until flour is completely incorporated.
Pour into a greased 9x9 pan and sprinkle chopped pecans over the top.
Bake in a 350 degree oven for 20-25 minutes. Do not over-bake!
