Makes 8 servings
2 lb ground beef
½ onion chopped
1 tbsp oil
2 15 oz can tomatoes
1 6 oz can tomato paste
1 4 oz can green chilis
1 tsp cumin powder
¼ tsp chili powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
½ cup cheddar cheese shredded
1 avocado cubed
In a large pot, add oil over medium heat.
Add onions and cook until translucent.
Next, add the ground beef and cook until browned, Move the mixture in a Crockpot.
Stir in tomatoes, tomato paste, chilis and seasonings.
Cover and reduce heat to low and simmer for 7 hours.
Add ¼ cup water if you’d like your chili with more liquid.
Serve warm with cheese and avocados
