3 garlic cloves
salt, to taste
1 bunch asparagus spears, approximately 30
3 tbsp parmesan, divided
1 tbsp olive oil
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Make a garlic paste with the garlic cloves (minced), 1 tbsp parmesan, and salt.
Trim the woody bottoms off the asparagus.
Massage the asparagus with the paste.
Add parmesan and olive oil.
Place in oven* and roast until slightly charred.
*You can also use a NuWave table top infrared oven or the grill function of a toaster oven. You want the asparagus to retain a little crunch while getting a nice char on the outside.
